This Netflix Original really caught my eye because everyone experiences this at least once in their life. GIRLBOSS is very relatable especially for those in their 20s who don’t know what they want in life, but still have to find a way to pay the bills. Sophia is a girl who is living in San Francisco, California. Personally just the location of the show had me snatched to it. Mainly because that’s where I’m from. Back to the show, Sophie is really struggling to pay her bills after she lost her job. If we are being honest, she wasn’t really dedicated to her job. Sophie really had to find a way to make money because getting evicted was a huge possibility. I won’t tell you if she found a way to pay her bills or moved back to her dads place, but what I can say is this show is worth watching.
It is just one season and I’m really hoping a second comes out! Sophie really gives a huge perspective of what many people in their 20s live life like in San Francisco, California. This is a very funny show that makes you want to keep watching after every episode. This series has comedy that is very similar to Pitch Perfect, so if you enjoyed that movie I really think you’ll like this series as well. Sophie really teaches you how to take control over your own life even when going through so many obstacles to achieve the goals you have and being happy with the life you have.
Like I said I really think this is a series you should watch mainly because it is very relatable and it could possibly be something you need to fix or change something in your life you’ve been questioning.

This show is so relatable and overall very good! I’m sorry to inform you, it was actually cancelled after Season One, which was very disappointing to me. Being that Britt Robertson is one of my favorite characters, I was automatically attracted to the show; but while watching it, I slowly started to see how much of my life related to what was happening on screen. At the moment, I feel like I’m all over the place and don’t have much figured out about life. I think this show is a good representation of the real truth to life, and how sometimes it can be so complicated. Most tv shows and movies paint this perfect picture about things, but that’s just not true. I was hoping for a second season to see how Sophia’s life panned out, but I’ll have to leave that up to my imagination! Great review Erika!
